A Heartfelt Farewell to Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp

With the conclusion of our 2026 camp season, Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp has officially come to an end after 13 unforgettable seasons, from 2014 through 2026.

This has been one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make.

When we began our camp program in 2014, we dreamed of creating more than simply a place where children could ride horses. We wanted every camper—whether they joined us for Overnight Camp, Day Camp, Tiny Tot Camp, attended for the first time, or returned year after year—to feel like they were part of the Pony Gang family.

Over the years, our camp program grew and changed, but its heart always remained the same. We wanted children of all ages to experience the joy of horses, build confidence, make new friends, learn responsibility, and create memories they would carry with them long after camp ended.

Our returning campers became an important part of our story, and welcoming new campers and families each season was always one of the greatest joys of what we did.

Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp required the full commitment of our entire family and team. Our camp days began early in the barn and were filled with riding, horse care, games, crafts, meals, laughter, learning, and countless special moments.

Our Tiny Tot Camps introduced some of our youngest horse lovers to ponies in a safe and encouraging environment. Our Day Camps gave children the opportunity to spend their days learning, riding, and caring for horses. During our Overnight Camps, Mrs. Angi and Ms. Ashley cared for our campers around the clock throughout each camp week.

We have treasured every early morning in the barn, every late-night conversation, every homesick hug, every friendship formed, and every smile that came from watching a child gain confidence through horses.

Over the years, our personal lives and the realities of operating a commercial horse camp have changed. Mrs. Angi is now raising her young son and focusing on her growing family, while Ms. Ashley hopes to begin that same chapter of life in the future.

At the same time, the responsibilities and expenses involved in safely operating a horse camp have continued to increase. Camp requires extensive staffing, preparation, supervision, insurance coverage, and an enormous physical and emotional commitment from everyone involved.

The 2026 season reminded us just how deeply we love our camp program, our incredible returning campers, and every new family who placed their trust in us. It also confirmed something we had been struggling with for quite some time: we can no longer provide the level of time, energy, staffing, and commitment that the complete camp operation requires.

We have always believed that every child who comes to Pony Gang deserves our very best. We never wanted to reduce the quality of care, supervision, instruction, or personal attention that made our camps so special.

Rather than compromise the safety, quality, and family atmosphere that have always been at the heart of Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to conclude our entire camp program with the 2026 season.

This means that Pony Gang will no longer offer Overnight Camps, Day Camps, Tiny Tot Camps, or other Horse Crazy Camp programs.

Although our camp chapter is coming to an end, Pony Gang Riding Academy will continue welcoming children and families through our regular riding lessons and other equestrian programs.

To every camper and every family who trusted us from 2014 through 2026, thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to watch your children grow, overcome challenges, discover a love for horses, build confidence, and create friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

You filled our farm with laughter, excitement, muddy boots, pony hugs, happy tears, and so much joy. Those memories will always remain a very special part of Pony Gang and of our family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Pony Gang family. We will forever be grateful for every camper, every family, and every memory we shared.
